Product catalog summary
Benefits
  • Compact size for easy access to sampling points.
  • Cost-effective monitoring of pressurized gases at atmospheric pressure.
  • Accessory for a validated instrument, requiring no additional qualification.
  • Lightweight compared to competitors.
  • HEPA air filter prevents contamination from overpressure air and low pressure/flow inversion.
Features
  • Measures gases with pressures from 0.5 to 10 bar (7.2 - 145 psi), depending on the model.
  • Compatible with Clean Dry Air (CDA), argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and other non-toxic inert gases.
  • No need for external flow meters.
  • Available in three versions: 25, 50, and 100 LPM flow rates.
  • No moving parts, reducing wear.
  • Constructed from autoclavable stainless steel, with a removable solenoid valve.
  • Easy cleaning with Isopropyl Alcohol 70/30, Sodium Hypochlorite 1%, and Hydrogen Peroxide 3%.
Applications

The MiniCapt® Compressed Gas Kit enables the MiniCapt Mobile Microbial Sampler to monitor compressed gases microbiologically. It is compatible with 25, 50, and 100 LPM MiniCapt systems. The kit includes a diffusion chamber connected to the MiniCapt inlet and the high-pressure gas line. A pressure regulator and solenoid valve ensure safe and synchronized gas flow for sampling.

Compressed Gas Kit for Viable Particulate Monitoring-1

MiniCapt® Compressed Gas Kit Microbial Monitoring Accessory BENEFITS • Small size for easy access to sampling points • Economical monitoring of pressurized gases with atmospheric pressure • Accessory to an already validated instrument • Does not need additional qualification • Relatively low weight compared to competitive instruments • HEPA air filter for overpressure air and inversion from low pressure/flow prevents contamination F E AT U R E S • Measures gases with pressures of 0.5 to 10 bar (7.2 145 psi) with the range dependent on the model • Can be used with Clean Dry Air (CDA), argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide or other non-toxic inert gases • No external flow meters needed The MiniCapt® Compressed Gas kit allows the MiniCapt Mobile Microbial Sampler to perform microbiological monitoring of compressed gases. The compressed gas kit is designed to work with either the 25 LPM, 50 LPM, or 100 LPM MiniCapt systems. This compressed gas kit uses a special diffusion chamber mounted directly to the MiniCapt inlet, the other end of which is connected directly to the high pressure gas distribution line. For safety reasons and to regulate the flow rate of the gas into the diffusion chamber, a pressure regulator is installed in the sampling line between the high pressure gas source and the inlet to the kit. A solenoid valve is connected downstream of regulator and allows the MiniCapt to synchronize the flow of the gas with the start of a sample. The flow of the gas to be sampled is controlled using the principle of the critical orifice. Under operating pressures, the critical orifice regulates the flow rate into the diffusion chamber and the exhaust. Without measurement there is no control • Three different versions: 25, 50 and 100 LPM flow rates • No moving parts to wear • Autoclavable stainless steel construction (removable solenoid valve) • Ease of cleaning with Isopropyl Alcohol 70/30, Sodium Hypochlorite 1%, and Hydrogen Peroxide 3%
