Vapor-Vac Hooded Induction Chambers The Vapor-Vac Hooded Induction Chamber works with your active vacuum waste gas management system such as the EVAC 4, by allowing for room air to be drawn into the waste anesthetic collection system as well as the waste gases from the induction chamber. If room air is not allowed to be pulled into the waste collection system, the vacuum will pull most of the fresh anesthetic gas out of the induction chamber before the animal is able to be anesthetized. Patterson Scientific’s Hooded Induction chamber has a sliding tip style lid which reduces your exposure to waste anesthetic gas compared to lift style lid induction chambers. All Patterson Scientific Induction chambers are constructed out of a durable PET-g. Unlike induction chambers made out of acrylic, Patterson Scientific's chambers are shatter resistant and will not break down when exposed to alcohol.
