MULTIPLACE HYPERBARIC SYSTEM Sigma VIP Multiplace Hyperbaric Sys- tems (the "Sigma MP Series") are designed to specification for hospitals expecting high treatment volumes or significant critical care requirements. Customized patient capacities, internal diameters, multiple compartments and a wide variety of accessories make each system unique. A free-standing opera- tor control console with color video Sigma MP Scries control consoles are custom designed for maximum operator efficiency. The Sigma MP Series is available in stan- dard 6, 8, 12, or 18 patient configurations, or custom designed to meet larger patient requirements. The Sigma MP Series per- mits treatment of seated, supine, or wheel- chair patients. One gurney replaces three removable seats. Dual or multiple com- partments allow for a variety PATIENT COMFORT Our standard systems provide a minimum of 100 cubic feet of space for each seated patient. A floor level, rectangular entrance door to the main allows gurney and wheelchair access with ease. Indiv idual patient seats are designed for utility, comfort and compatibility with the intended environment. Ergonomic cush- ioned seats with arm rests, cervical and lumbar supports, and fold-out foot rests increase patient comfort. Seats are easily removed for sanitizing or replacement. Two attendant jump seats are included. An environmental control system main- tains the interior temperature level. Ample acrylic viewports and a warm Sigma MP Series features spacious, comfortable interiors ami economically designed patient white interior increase patient treatment acceptance by reducing the likelihood of confinement anxiety. Cool fiber optic lighting with zoned dimmer controls, a noise reduction system, and a ventilation system are standard features. Entertain- ment systems are available in audio or projection TV/video systems. Pressurized with air lor increased safety, the multiplace system features a built-in breathing system (13II3SI which prov ides treatment breathing gas for patients and attendants. Individual oxygen supply is adjustable at each patient console. Stan- dard oxygen monitors measure continu- ous percentage of oxygen in each compartment and in the BIBS delivery sys- tem. Patient exhaust is directed outside the compartment to prevent build-up of oxygen. UV flame detectors and fire sup- pression svstems are standard features on every Sigma MP. A color closed circuit TV monitoring system in each treatment com- partment provides constant surveillance of chamber occupants and activity. Intrinsi- cally safe communications systems and back-up, sound-powered telephones are also standard safety features.
