Cure-Aid® is available with: 1- Different backing materials 2- Different pad types. 3- Different shapes. 4- Different application systems. 1- Different backing material: • Perforated PE film: Washproof, ideal for working in wet or moist conditions to protect the wound from water. • PU film: Waterproof and breathable, patients can wash and bathe as normal. • Rigid and elastic Non-woven: Senistive, ideal for patients with sensitive skin. • PE foam: Washproof and Provides extra cushioning effect. • PE film/Non-woven: Washproof and for patients with sensitive skin. • Rigid and elastic Fabric: Heavy duty, Long-lasting protection, ideal for hard working hands: construction work, extreme sports, camping and more. All the above are available in different designs/shapes for kids 2- Different pad types: • White/colored absorbent pads. • Superabsorbent pads. • Stop bleeding pad. • Antimicrobial pads: containing silver, Iodine, Chlorhexidine, or Domiphen bromide, to protect wounds against infection. • Metal detectable pads, available with blue backing materials: ideal for situations where it may be necessary to track lost bandages, e.g catering and food handling applications, the bandage is metal detectable and the bright blue color helps you visually locate bandages. 3- Different shapes: • Eye patch (kids and adults): for Eye injuries and Postoperative eye care. • Knee plaster (kids and adults): larger plasters to provide better coverage of wounds on knees and elbows due to their enlarged size. • Nose plaster: for fixation of Oxygen tubes. • Injection site plaster: for protection of injection site. • Fingertip plaster: for secure coverage of wounds at fingertips. • Knuckle (Anchor) plaster: ideal for knuckles and finger joints. • Butterfly wound closure strips: Closes small wounds and supports sutured wounds. • Feet Plaster: for secure protection of wounds on the heels. • Corn Plaster: Special designs to relieve pain from corns. • Special designs with bright colors for kids.
