Description: Medicated individually packed first aid adhesive bandages are made of different backing materials like: polyethylene, Polyurethane film, rigid fabric, Elastic fabric or, nonwoven fabric with absorbent pad impregnated with Domiphen Bromide BP (0.05-0.25%), which helps prevent infection Features: • Domiphen Bromide helps prevent infection by preventing colonization at the wound pad site and passing this infection to the wound site. • Domiphen bromide is a Quaternary ammonium compound, which confers some detergent properties which facilitates the absorbance of blood into the wound pad. • Highly absorbent, low adherent wound pad. • Hypoallergenic, latex free hotmelt adhesive. • Superior stick for long lasting protection. • Non sterile medicated products for household use. Indications: Domiphen Bromide Medicated First Aid Adhesive Bandages are used for protection of minor cuts and skin scratches of a size limited by the size of the dressing, where the environment of use is not clinically clean. Contraindication: Don’t use with patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the bandages’ components. Instruction for use: • Always wash hands before and after treating any wounds. • Dry the wound and surrounding skin. • Apply the plaster and press down edges firmly. • Change daily.
