InciFilm Iodine - Theatre Incise Drape. Incifilm Iodine Incise Drape is a yellowish coloured, transparent, adhesive Polyurethare film whichallows the skin to breath, preventing moisture build-up under the drape. As a result adheres to thesurrounding skin throughout long surgical operations and more importantly, right up to the wound edge.The adhesive used contains PVP-iodine, providing continuous broad spectrum antimicrobial activity,and a superior adhesion to the skin and wound edge. InciFilm Iodine Frame Style is the new generation of incise drapes which have a unique frame deliverysystem, enabling easy application by only one person, rather than two persons application in ordinaryincise drapes. Do not use incifilm iodine on patient with known sensitivity to iodine 1. Disinfect the operative site according to the health care facility policy and allow the skin to dry. 2. Hold Incifilm® Iodine drape a few inches above the skin, grasp edges of non-adhesive handle. 3. Firmly peel off release liner. 4. Using a sterile towel, press down firmly on the film, first contacting the skin along the intended incision line to ensure good skin contact.
