Description: Pharmapad Carbon Silver is a thin dressing containing activated charcoal layer which is the ideal solution for malodorous wounds. The wound contact layer is laminated with polyethylene net containing silver to provide antimicrobial effect. Features: • Provide an effective barrier to bacterial penetration. • Activated Charcoal adsorbs offending odours resulting from wounds by trapping bacteria and bacterial toxins • Antimicrobial effect of silver reduces risk of infection • Absorbent nonwoven pad gives fast and controlled absorption of light exudates, constructed to avoid strike through. • Individually packed in a peel pouch and EO sterilized • Can be cut to size • Used only as primary dressing because polyethylene silver net works only in contact with wound exudates

• Pressure Ulcers • Surgical wounds • Diabetic Ulcers • First and second degree burns • Venous Ulcers Contraindications: Sensitivity to any of the product components Instructions for use: • Pharmapad Carbon silver could be used as it is or cut to size. •Applied directly to the wound surface and covered with a secondary dressing such as Protectfilm in case of light exudates or Pharma-Foam in case of moderate or heavy exudates. It can also be held in position with a tape of fixation bandage. Frequency of change: Up to 3 days according to intensity of exudates
