PharmasuperFoam - 1

The answer to skin maceration PharmasuperFoam is a tri-laminate construction where edges of the dressing are sealed by a unique technique, so that the dressing acts as a reservoir of wound exudates which cannot leak laterally upon saturation of foam and upon compression. PharmasuperFoam product range comprises of the following versions: PharmasuperFoam: made of soft, thick and elastic polyurethane foam sandwiched between an outer most breathable, bacterial proof and viral proof polyurethane film and wound contacting perforated polyurethane film. The edges of the outermost and the innermost polyurethane film are sealed together with a unique technique to prevent leakage when foam is saturated with exudates and upon compression. PharmasuperFoam Heel: is a cup shaped foam dressing laminated with breathable, bacterial proof and viral proof polyurethane outer most layer and perforated wound contacting perforated polyurethane film. The edges of the dressing are sealed with a unique technique and the tri-laminate is die cut into a cup shaped dressing that can fit the heel and elbow areas. PharmasuperFoam Silver: same as PharmasuperFoam but Polyethylene silver net as wound contact layer, to prevent colonization on the surface of wound and to provide a clean environment during wound healing. PharmasuperFoam Carbon is a five layer construction wound dressing, made of activated charcoal wound pad, sandwiched between two layers of polyurethane foam. In addition to this, the upper polyurethane foam layer is laminated with breathable polyurethane film, while the lower polyurethane foam layer is laminated with Perforated Polyurethane Film. PharmasuperFoam Carbon Silver: same as PharmasuperFoam Carbon but Polyethylene silver net as wound contact layer.

The answer to skin maceration Features and Benefits: •The dressings’ layers work together to ensure presence of moist environment at the wound site, high absorption capacity and longer wear time without maceration. •The sealed edges of the dressing allow longer wear time without risk of maceration of the skin surrounding the wound because exudates cannot leak laterally even when foam is saturated with exudates or compressed under a compression therapy. •Reduces frequency of dressing change •The perforated wound contact film prevents adherence of foam to the wound, allowing removal without...
