Description: Topical antiseptic solution contains 10% Povidone Iodine equivalent to 1% available iodine. Indications: • Disinfection of wounds, lacerations, abrasions and burns. • Preparation of skin and mucous membranes prior to surgery. • Post- operative application to protect against infection. • Treatment of infected skin conditions. Contra-indication: • Not to be used by persons who are allergic to iodine. • Not be used on patients with a non-toxic nodular colloid goiter. Precaution: • Hypersensitivity to povidone-iodine. • Application to large areas of broken skin or for extended period of time should be avoided as excessive absorption of iodine may occur. Absorption of povidone-iodine may interfere with thyroid function tests. • Use with caution in newborns, pregnancy and lactation. Warning: • For external use only • Do not use in the eyes • Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. • prolonged exposure to wet solution may cause irritation. • If irritation, sensitization, or allergic reaction occurs and lasts for 72 hours, get medical help.

How to use: • Clean the affected area. • Gently squeeze the POVI bottle, then apply it as paint full strength with sterile gauze or as wet dressing for skin and wound disinfection. • The area may be left uncovered, or you may cover it with a sterile bandage or dressing. • Clean the bottle's nozzle after use.
