Description: Absorbent non-woven impregnated with Sodium Chloride creates hypertonic wound environment that is unfavorable to microorganisms. Features: - Non-linting non-woven dressing. - Simulates the cleansing of wounds. - Applied in its dry state. - Absorbs wound exudates, slough, necrosis and bacteria. - Facilitates the natural healing process. How does it work? Once it absorbs the wound exudates, the sodium chloride inside the dressing creates hypertonic environment that wicks the exudates, slough, necrosis and bacteria inside the dressing. Indications: Salicol1'’ D is intended for wounds with moderate to heavy exuding rate, including wounds with slough. Contraindications: Salicol6 D should not be used over dry or lightly exuding wounds. Other sizes available upon request
