Control Panel Standard Features: The control panel is compliant with NFPA99 and UL508A standards, housed in a NEMA 12 enclosure. General Description: Powerex medical air systems comply with NFPA99 and include compressors, an ASME receiver, a UL-listed control panel, and an air purification system. Systems are available in Modular Skid Mount, Modular Enclosed, and Horizontal Tank Mount configurations, manufactured in ISO9001 certified facilities.
Powerex Building Management Integrator (PBMI) Option: This HMI touch screen panel provides system information and alerts, using BacNet® protocol for communication with building automation systems.
Air Receiver: The system includes an ASME stamped receiver rated for 150 PSIG MWP, equipped with a pressure gauge, relief valve, block and by-pass valves, and an electronic tank drain.
Desiccant Air Purification System: Features redundant desiccant dryers, filters, regulators, and safety valves. It includes dew point and carbon monoxide monitors with alarms. The dryers use a pressure swing adsorption cycle, alternating between drying and regenerating phases.
Refrigerated Air Dryers: These non-cycling dryers use R-134 A refrigerant and maintain consistent temperature with a hot gas by-pass system. They include power and temperature indicators, a suction pressure gauge, and a condensate drain.
Oil-Less Scroll Technology: Powerex's oil-less scroll compressors are compact, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly. They feature durable cast iron bearings, a patented bearing re-grease feature, and a high-efficiency cooling system.
Oil-Less Reciprocating Technology: Features self-lubricating composite piston technology for increased reliability and reduced temperature.

Desiccant air purification system: Each system is provided with a redundant set of desiccant dryers, filters, regulators, and safety relief valves. Dew point and carbon monoxide monitors with alarms are provided to continuously monitor the air quality. Each dryer contains two vessels filled with moisture adsorbent material.
