PROFESSIONAL utilizATION OF disposable needles The needle combustor is designed for medical ambulatories, clinics and hospitals. It is dedicated to utilize disposable needles after use, thus protecting the medical staff from accidental prick or infection while disconnecting used needles from syringes, carrying or storing them. The device enables melting metal part of a needle in a very high temperature; moreover, the needle’s head is automatically disconnected and dropped into a container (filled with a disinfectant), placed inside the device. In case of utilizing needles used for blood sampling, it is necessary to rinse the needle before burning (e.g. in a sodium hypo-chlorite solution with available chlorine concentrated at 10,000 ppm) by sucking in the fluid and a bit of air, right after injection.
