The PrimeCare® Concord Plus 8.0 Quick Specs The Concord Plus 8.0 is Primus Medical's new 8 cell air/foam hybrid mattress. This mattress features a Closed System (Static Air) that can quickly convert to an Alternating Pressure Mattress. Eight non-circular cylinders prevent "rolling" or "gapping"* and are fully enclosed in a fiber mesh sleeve and jacket. The low noise control unit is simple to use and automatically set at a 1 Omin cycle. The 2.5" Visco-elastic top layer does not raise body heat unlike standard Visco-elastic foam. The stretch defined top cover is fluid proof, air-permeable (breathable) and reduces friction and patient shear. The Concord Plus 8.0 also helps to eliminate need for additional housed mattresses, which cuts down on movement and transport of additional mattresses. This can occur in cylinders that are circular in shape and have no flat bottom to prevent rolling or gapping between cylinders.
