Technology
The DryCheck uses Michell’s advanced ceramic impedance sensor technology. This sensor detects water molecules based on their dielectric properties, allowing for rapid response to changes in moisture levels. The sensor is composed of a permeable gold film, a hygroscopic mono-layer, a base electrode, and a ceramic substrate.

Installation and Configuration
The device is housed in a rugged polycarbonate case that can be wall-mounted. It includes a clear cover for the display and sample flowmeter, and uses quick connect fittings for gas connections. The sampling system includes a replaceable 0.3 μm particulate filter and components rated to 1 MPa. The user can configure the display and outputs via the front panel.

Conclusion
The DryCheck is a versatile and reliable instrument for dew-point measurement, offering ease of installation and operation, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.

DryCheck Self-Contained Dew-Point Instrument-3

Dew-Point Transmitters Technology Ceramic Impedance Sensor The DryCheck uses Impedance technology, based on Michell’s advanced ceramic sensor. The operation of this sensor depends on the dielectric property of water molecules absorbing onto an active porous insulating layer sandwiched between two layers of conductive material deposited on a ceramic substrate. Water has a very high dielectric compared to the dielectric of the active layer and the background of the carrier gas so it can be detected easily. The active layer is very thin – less than one micron and the porous top conductor that allows...
