Subtalar screw MIDLOCK
The Midlock subtalar screw is constructed entirely from titanium, featuring a conical shape with a 15° angle and a semispherical point. It is cannulated with a 2 mm hole and has a left-hand thread to facilitate the use of an extractor. The screw is designed with a hexagonal site for the screwdriver.
Design and Functionality
The screw's external design includes a right atraumatic threading with a round pitch, allowing it to fit into the tarsal sinus while maintaining the arch of the foot. The surface is treated to enhance grip.
Specifications and Instruments
The screws are available in diameters ranging from 7 mm to 12 mm. The accompanying instrument set includes a caliber for each size, a rapid slim handle, a screwdriver, an extractor, a guide, a probe, and a pair of guide wires.
Packaging and Sterilization
Each screw is individually packaged in a sterile pack, sterilized using ethylene oxide (ETO), with a validity of 5 years.

Subtalar Screw model MIDLOCK ® The subtalar screw “Midlock” is entirely realized in Titanium. Its shape is conical of 15° and it has semispherical point. It’s cannulated inside with an hole of 2 mm and it has a left thread, so in this way it’s possible to use the extractor, meanwhile for the screwdriver there is an hexagonal site. The external shape of the screw presents a right atraumatic threading with round pitch. This shape permits to fit in the tarsal sinus keeping lifted the arch of the foot. Its superficies is treated to a better grip. There are measures from 7 mm to 12 mm for diameter and the instruments presents a caliber for each measure, a rapid slim handle, a screwdriver, an extractor, a guide, a probe and a pair of guide wires. Each screw is packed singularly in a sterile pack, sterilized in ETO valid for 5 years.
