The Reichert® PSL Portable Slit Lamp is a compact, handheld device designed to provide high-quality eye examinations with the convenience of portability. It features a high luminance, natural daylight LED for clear and detailed eye views.
Weighing approximately 1.5 lbs (0.68 kg), the PSL is lightweight and ergonomically designed for easy handling. It includes a carrying case, making it suitable for use with non-ambulatory patients, during nursing home visits, and in veterinary settings.
The device uses a high luminance LED providing 10,000 lux of natural daylight illumination with a lifespan of over 50,000 hours. It includes two long-lasting batteries, each supporting up to two hours of operation at maximum illumination, and a battery charger for convenience.
