Amplification Process
The LAMP RNA amplification process is straightforward and rapid, requiring only the addition of a sample to a tube with primers, buffer, Bst DNA polymerase, and reverse transcriptase. The reaction occurs at a constant temperature of 60 to 65°C and completes within an hour without a separate reverse-transcription step.
Detection Methods
Results from LAMP amplification can be monitored in real-time using Loopamp® Realtime Turbidimeters, which are cost-effective. The SAS™ Loopamp® RNA Amplification Kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, allowing amplification and detection in 60 minutes within a single tube. It supports high volume throughput, processing 32 samples per hour, including controls.
Kit Contents and Specifications
The SAS™ Loopamp® RNA Amplification Kit is available in different sizes (48, 96, and 192 tests) with varying contents of reaction mix, enzyme mix, and distilled water. Positive Control RNA and Primer Mix are included only in the 48-test package. The kits have a storage requirement of -20°C and a shelf life of one year.
