HEPA and ULPA terminal hoods Low Pressure DUG-MAB DUG-DAB PLUS Technical features DUG PLUS disposable terminal hoods are used in clean rooms with vertical laminar flow and they are usually installed in false ceilings with proper aluminum profiles. The main advantage, compared to the standard version, is the lower pressure drop allowing big improvement in energy and money saving, making also this product really environmentally friendly. Frame is in extruded anodized aluminum, connected to a single-block polystyrene plenum, self-extinguishing, stamp-formed and fitted with circular collar on the top. Filtering pack is in of micro-fiber glass, waterproof and fire-resistant, mini-pleated with constant pitch; the sealant used is polyurethane based. These filters are fitted with thermo-plastic continuous separators. A white epoxy painted micro-drawn aluminum protection grids is placed downstream to avoid any damage to the filter during the installation. DUG terminal hoods are available in two versions: DUG-MAB and DUG-DAB. The only difference between these two versions, is the filtering surface: in both the models it is higher than the standard DUG, to guarantee longer operating life and lower pressure drop. DUG-DAB version has the highest filtering surface. Every single filter is checked with a scanning test according to EN 1822, then labeled and the test report is printed and packaged with the relevant filter.
