Neonatology - neonates Minimal sample volumes for our smallest patients Micro-Needle The Micro-Needle was developed to meet the specific needs of neonatology and has a grooved holder that ensures optimum and safe puncture. It is available in three different diameters. The short design of the canula means a minimal dead volume during sample collection. Safe puncture aside, the Micro-Needle holder allows you to turn the cannula in the vein. As such, it is easy to remove any blockage at the cannula bevel.
