Adherent cells are easily cultivated in tissue culture flasks with a traditional tissue culture surface that are coded with a red or black quick-release cap. Primary, established epithelial, and other fastidious cell lines that are difficult to grow on traditional surfaces may grow better on the growth surface offered by Cell+ coded with a yellow quick-release cap. A special coating of the growth surfaces with polylysines, collagens, or gelatins is often not necessary. Special flasks with a hydrophobic surface that minimises cell loss attributed to unwanted cell attachment are coded with a green quick-release cap. Problem-free cultivation of suspension and hybridoma cultures thanks to the hydrophobic growth surface. Quick detachment of cells from the surface can be achieved by gently tapping the flasks. 93
