CAPA Mobile Base Station can be easily integrated into existing packaging lines without significant changes and thus enables significant space saving. With the compact and flexible Add-on solution CAPA Mobile Base Station, labels with production-specific data are printed and then checked. Depending on requirements, the system can be used for the manual aggregation of shipping cartons or pallet and as a rework station. ■ System Design The CAPA Mobile Base Station is a compact printing and inspection system for labels in the pharmaceutical packaging process. Depending on the requirements up to two printer attachments can be realised. The manual aggregation is done by a mounted handheld scanner. The complete machine control of all components is taken over by a PLC.
