Specifications Overview
The Serachem Semi-Automatic Chemistry & Coagulation Analyzer is designed for clinical chemistry applications. It features a pre-focused halogen lamp with an auto sleep function as its light source and a silicon photo diode detector covering a photometric range of 0.000 to 3.000 Absorbance. The photometric accuracy is within ±2% or 0.007 from 0 to 1.5 A, and ±3% from 1.5 A to 3.0 A. It supports 8 standard wavelengths and two optional ones.

Filter and Temperature Control
The analyzer uses long-life narrow band interference filters and includes an onboard incubator. Temperature control is Peltier regulated with settings at 25°C, 30°C, and 37°C.

Cuvette and Data Storage
The system includes a 32 µl flowcell, square cuvette, and coagulation cuvette with an adapter. It has a memory capacity for over 180 methods and can store over 3000 test results, supported by DDR3 SDRAM and FLASH memory.

Measurement and Calibration
Measurement procedures include kinetics with linearity check, two points, end point monochromatic or bi-chromatic, differential, ratio, coagulation, and turbidimetry. Calibration options include factor, one point, two point multi-point, and automatic modes.

Quality Control and Interface
The system supports two controls per test and provides a QC survey of the last 15 controls with a Levey Jenning Plot. The operator interface is a 7” TFT LCD touch screen, and the device includes a thermal line graphic printer. Signal interfaces include USB, RS 232, and optional ports for external devices.
