PRODUCT DATA SHEET Personal Protectiive Equipment Face Shield DESCRIPTION Face shields are a personal protective equipment (PPE) device used for infection control. A face shield is required when face protection is needed. It is used to protect against potential contamination such as splashes, spray, splatter or droplets of blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM). It will provide protection of the eyes, nose and mouth. FEATURES AND BENEFITS Splash resistant Elastic strap to suit different head sizes Optically clear and no dizziness Vented foam headband relieves pressure on forehead PRODUCT DATA • 32cm (W) x 22cm(L) • 100% PET film • 100% Transparent • PU foam liner • Elastic headband INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Donning a face shield: Removing a face shield: • Remove protective film on lens before use. • To remove, pull the elastic strap forward and over your head. Be careful not to touch the front of the face shield. • Place the foam against your forehead and stretch the elastic band over your head. • Dispose of it immediately in a hazardous waste container. • Once the face shield is on, check to ensure it fully covers the front and sides of the face and no areas are left uncovered. WARNING: • Do not use as industrial PPE. • This shield is not impact resistant. • Do not use as protection against welding or grinding processes.
