Recertification program overview The refurbishment of Single Use Devices is regulated. Smith & Nephew is able to refurbish JET-X™ clamps. The Smith & Nephew Recertification program allows for three uses of the device. After a new device is used, it can be recertified for an additional use. This process is repeated for a third use. • Collection containers are available to hold products until there is a sufficient amount to ship to Smith & Nephew for recertification.
