SpeedM® Emergency Hemostatic Dressing is a sterile, non-absorbable hemostatic agent designed for temporary treatment of heavily bleeding traumatic injuries. It is suitable for patients except children under 6 years of age. The dressing is 7.5 x 370 cm, Z-fold, and contains Halloysite.

Intended Use
SpeedM® is intended for temporary treatment of heavily bleeding wounds such as cuts, lacerations, and abrasions. It is designed for use by trained first responders.

Contraindications
Not suitable for use on the eyeball or in direct contact with the central circulatory system. Not for patients with known allergies to kaolins.

Mode of Action
The dressing works through physical mechanisms: local concentration of platelets via electrostatic adhesion, water absorption, and pressure transfer. The large specific surface area of the product enhances its effectiveness.
