Introduction
Colorectal Cancer (CRC) is a significant global health issue, with approximately 1 million new cases and over 500,000 deaths annually. The incidence is expected to rise due to population aging and growth. CRC is the second leading cause of cancer mortality for both men and women. Early detection is possible through the presence of blood and tissue in feces before symptoms appear.

Screening Guidelines
The 2010 European guidelines recommend quantitative Fecal Immunochemical Testing (FIT) as the primary screening method for CRC. The World Endoscopy Organization also supports FIT for screening.

Spinreact FOB Kit
The Spinreact FOB kit uses polyclonal antibodies for quantitative CRC screening without dietary restrictions, suitable for use on an automated analyzer. Samples can be collected at home or in a lab using a collection tube with hemoglobin stabilizers.

Sample Collection
The system allows for optimized sample collection with standardized feces volume. Samples remain stable for up to 7 days.

Spinreact Turbidimetric Assay
With 40 years of experience, the assay avoids the prozone effect up to 100,000 ng/mL at a 100 ng/mL cutoff and shows no interference with bilirubin, albumin, or animal hemoglobin. No dietary restrictions are needed.

Dedicated System
The system includes refrigerated samples and reagents on an optimized rotor, accommodating three turbidimetric techniques and 28 samples. New techniques like H. pylori and Calprotectin are in development.

Calibrator and Controls
Calibrators and controls are freeze-dried with a 24-month shelf life, stable for 24 hours at 2-4°C or 1 month at -20°C, and traceable to WHO standards.
