CSI/JEWETT 6910 West Ridge Road, Fairview PA 16415 Phone: 814-474-9353 Fax: 814-474-5797 www.csi-jewett.com Medicine Station Construction CSI/Jewett Medicine Stations (JMS series) are constructed of type 304 stainless steel with a No. 4 polished finish on exposed surfaces. All welds are Heliarc type and are ground and polished to a smooth finish. Top, sides, back and front are of 18 gauge stainless steel. Counter top and sink are made of 16 gauge stainless steel. All components bear U.L. listings. Counter tops will have a large 22" (558.8 mm) deep working surface and are 39-1/2" (1003.3 mm) high. A 12" (304.8 mm) x 10" (254 mm) x 6" (152 mm) deep sink is integrally welded into the counter. Sink will have all radius corners and will be equipped with deck-mounted faucet, swivel spout. Medicine storage shelves are flat level shelves with long edges turned down and back to reinforced strength. A cup dispenser is provided for dispensing individual 1 ounce paper cups. A 30" (762 mm) H x 10" (254 mm) D x 12" (304.8 mm) W Narcotics/Hypnotics Cabinet is provided. The cabinet is located in the upper left hand section of the medicine station and is equipped with outer and inner doors. Each door has a separate lock and key. (There is an outer door to secure hypnotics and inner door to secure Narcotics locker). Red warning lights are provided to indicate when either door is open or in an unlocked position. Remote alarm contacts are provided. The 5.4 cu. ft (153 liters) net capacity biological refrigerator is a complete self contained under counter type, model UC5B. cleaning. The unit will fit tightly into the lower left compartment with no gaps or open crevices. Door features a positive latch with keyed lock. The interior is 20-gauge stainless steel with two (2) adjustable stainless steel shelves. A dished interior basin is included to retain spills and is easily cleaned. A blower coil cooling system is used and operates with an off cycle defrost method. A uniform 4° C is required.
