Aurora 1030C

Aurora 1030C

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Aurora 1030C Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer utilizes high temperature catalytic combustion at 680°C to oxidize organic compounds in water samples, converting them to CO2 for measurement via a solid-state non-dispersive infrared (SS-NDIR) detector. This method is particularly effective for samples with high molecular weight organics, such as humic acid, at concentrations above 500 ppb C.
Key Features:
  • Patented two-chamber combustion reactor design extends catalyst life and reduces maintenance costs.
  • Supports multiple regulatory methods including USEPA, ISO, and ASTM standards for various water types.
  • Optional dual oxidation mode (1030D) allows for both high temperature combustion and heated persulfate wet oxidation.
  • Automation accessories include an 88-position rotary autosampler and ATOC software for data management.
Specifications:
  • Measurement range: 100 ppb C to 30,000 ppm C.
  • Detection limit: 50 ppb C.
  • Furnace temperature adjustable from 680°C to 950°C.
  • Repeatability: 3.0%; Accuracy: ±2% FS or 2% relative.
  • Power supply: 100-240VAC, 50/60 Hz, 950W.
Applications: Suitable for drinking water, municipal and industrial wastewater, groundwater, surface water, and sewage effluent analysis.
Additional Options: The Aurora 1030C can be equipped with a multi-stream sampling module for at-line monitoring and a solids module for analyzing solid materials.

Aurora 1030C-2

The Aurora 1030C employs high temperature (680 °C) catalytic combustion to oxidize and convert organic compounds present in aqueous samples to CO2 for measurement by a solid state non-dispersive infrared (SS-NDIR) detector. The high temperature combustion technique is most effective for analysis of samples containing high molecular weight, difficult-to-oxidize organics (e.g; humic acid) at levels > 500 ppb C. The Aurora 1030C is equipped with a patented* two chamber combustion reactor that overcomes problems associated with TOC analyzers that use a single chamber reactor. The first chamber of...
