Aurora 1030W

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Aurora 1030W Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer utilizes heated persulfate wet oxidation to measure organic contamination in aqueous samples. It effectively oxidizes organic compounds using sodium persulfate, suitable for a wide range of concentrations from 10 ppb to 30,000 ppm.
Specifications: The analyzer operates using non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) detection with a detection limit of 2 ppb C. It features a color LCD touchscreen and can be operated standalone or via PC/LAN. The device supports multiple calibration ranges and requires sodium persulfate and phosphoric acid as reagents.
Applications: The Aurora 1030W is applicable in various fields including drinking water, pharmaceutical cleaning validation, wastewater, and ultrapure water analysis. It supports numerous regulatory methods such as USEPA 415.3 and ASTM standards.
Features: The analyzer can be enhanced with options like a second oxidation chamber, an 88-position rotary autosampler, and ATOC software for data management. It also offers a multi-stream sampling module and compatibility with isotope ratio mass spectrometers.
Performance: The Aurora 1030W ensures high sensitivity and low background contamination through thorough rinsing between analyses. It contrasts with combustion TOC analyzers by avoiding salt accumulation and maintaining oxidation efficiency.
Physical Characteristics: The dimensions of the Aurora 1030W are 42.5 cm H x 49.5 cm W x 41.9 cm D, with a weight of 15.4 kg. When combined with the 1088 Autosampler, the dimensions and weight increase accordingly.
Additional Model: The Aurora 1030C model is available for high-temperature catalytic combustion TOC analysis.

Aurora 1030W-2

The Aurora 1030W Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer uses the proven heated persulfate wet oxidation technique to analyze organic contamination levels in aqueous samples. Virtually all organic compounds dissolved in water can be oxidized by heated sodium persulfate (Na2S208). Concentrated solutions (1 or 1.5 M) can effectively oxidize organic matter present in the form of colloids, macromolecules, and suspended solids. The Aurora 1030W can be programmed and calibrated to analyze samples containing organic carbon at levels as low as 10 ppb and up to 30,000 ppm. Depending upon method and application,...
