ARC QA Phantom

ARC QA Phantom

ARC QA Phantom

Product catalog summary
Overview: The ARC QA Phantom is designed for machine and patient quality assurance (QA) in rotational treatment systems such as Varian RapidArc, Elekta VMAT, and TomoTherapy. It serves as an economical alternative to 2D arrays, constructed from water-equivalent Plastic Water™ DT material, and supports both absolute and relative dosimetry without the need for software or expensive detectors.
Specifications: The phantom is a cylindrical device measuring 30 cm in length and 20 cm in diameter. It is constructed to be water-equivalent within 1% and allows for flexible positioning of inserts in axial and longitudinal planes. The phantom is securely held together by large thumbscrews for easy assembly and disassembly.
Machine QA Capabilities: The ARC QA Phantom includes a CT Volume Insert and Multiple Target Shapes and Densities QA Insert to test treatment system capabilities. It allows for the evaluation of treatment planning system (TPS) reconstruction abilities and dose delivery verification using film inserts.
Patient QA Capabilities: The phantom supports absolute, relative, and point dose dosimetry measurements at isocenter and off-isocenter positions. It accommodates a classic Farmer-type chamber and includes film inserts for comprehensive QA testing.
Features: The phantom facilitates accurate positioning with comprehensive laser alignment marks and a digital angle gauge for precise adjustments. The positioning base ensures consistent placement and smooth rotation.
Included Accessories: The package includes two film inserts, a CT Volume Insert, a Multiple Target Shapes and Densities QA Insert, a chamber plug, a bone density plug, two blank plugs, a digital angle gauge, and a rotation handle.
Product Standards: The ARC QA Phantom is constructed to high-quality standards, ensuring reliable performance in QA testing for various treatment systems.

ARC QA Phantom-1

• VERSATILE ROTATIONAL QA The ARC QA Phantom provides machine and patient QA for rotational treatment systems such as Varian RapidArc, Elekta VMAT,™ ™ and TomoTherapy® • ECONOMICAL, 2D ARRAY ALTERNATIVE The ARC QA Phantom is a 30 cm long x 20 cm diameter cylindrical phantom constructed of water equivalent Plastic Water™ DT material. Perform absolute and relative dosimetry with confidence using proven film and traditional ion chamber detectors... no software or Obtain absolute dose, relative dose, and point dose expensive detector equipment is required. Use familiar dosimetry QA measurements at isocenter and at exact techniques to perform rotational QA tests, including positions off isocenter, using standard ion chambers and evaluation of composite rotational dose distribution film. Chamber plug system accommodates a classic Farmer- from individual arcs, gantry alignment accuracy, and type chamber, which can be positioned anywhere within a rotational output rate uniformity. The ARC QA Phantom 13 cm diameter range on the axial face. Use the two included is not only useful for rotational QA, but for IMRT and film inserts, positioned in the axial or the longitudinal orientation, which can be rotated freely in 360°. • MACHINE QA CAPABILITIES Perform commissioning and test the capabilities of the treatment system with the included CT Volume Insert and Multiple Target Shapes and Densities QA Insert. By comparing known volumes and complex geometries between imager and treatment planning system(s), challenge and assess the TPS’ reconstruction abilities and determine the cumulative uncertainties. Evaluate the ability of the TPS to include and avoid critical structures and use the included film insert to verify expected dose delivery. Use the 3D Target Shape Insert’s multiple densities to check the CT density tables utilized by the components of the imaging and planning chain.
