Blue Water is a new standard in water-equivalent materials, offering a high degree of equivalency for photons within 1.0%. It is free from contaminants and air, ensuring reliability in medical imaging and radiation therapy applications. The material is robust, non-sticky, and unaffected by temperature or humidity changes.

Unique Chamber Slab Design
The slabs, available in thicknesses of at least 2 cm, feature cavities for accommodating various ion chambers. This design allows for the use of interchangeable ion chamber plugs, reducing the need for multiple slabs.

Photon Beam Quality Assurance (QA)
Blue Water provides a fast and easy alternative to traditional water tanks for routine checks of linear accelerator photon beams. It is tested for consistency in independent calibration laboratories.

Specifications
Blue Water has a density of 1.09 g/cm³ and is available in standard square slabs of 30 cm x 30 cm and 20 cm x 20 cm. Thicknesses range from 0.2 cm to 6 cm. Custom sizes and shapes are available upon request.

Graphs comparing depth dose percentages for 23 MV and 6 MV X-rays show Blue Water's performance closely matches that of actual water, making it a reliable substitute.
