HARMONY EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS - 1

HARMONY™ EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS APPLICATION For use in hospital facilities where there is a need for ready access to medical gases, electrical power and audio/visual data services. Harmony Equipment Management Systems (EMS) organize surgical equipment such as endoscopy equipment, laparoscopic equipment, cautery devices, insufflators, etc. Harmony EMS units help hospitals to improve efficiency and safety by ergonomically centralizing all surgical support equipment. DESCRIPTION Harmony EMS systems are mounted to the ceiling, freeing up floor space, removing cord trip hazards and enhancing patient access. Harmony EMS units are custom designed to ensure that each Customer’s medical gas, electrical and audio/visual data service needs are met. Harmony EMS systems enable 360° of equipment access while efficiently organizing all service needs to one centralized location, enhancing staff efficiency. EMS systems are designed to organize surgical equipment with shelving solutions, accessory equipment rails and cable management to cleanly manage all of the Customer’s surgical equipment. EMS units can also support an integrated Plume Evacuation System (PES) that is designed to reduce patient and staff exposure to potentially harmful chemicals and irritants by removing surgical smoke from the sterile field. When not in use, Harmony EMS units can be moved out of the way, allowing for quicker easier room clean-up and turnover. GENERAL CONFIGURATIONS Harmony EMS systems are designed for various weight capacities. Arm suspension choices include light, medium and strong systems that offer a range of equipment load capacity up to 595 lb (270 kg). These units come in both fixed-height and height-adjustable models. Harmony EMS arm suspension options offer single arm or double arm configurations to enable maximum head to foot or shoulder to shoulder patient coverage. (Typical only - some details may vary.) CUSTOM BUILT Each Harmony EMS system is custom configured to ensure that each Customer’s needs are addressed. Units are designed to provide: medical gas, electrical, low voltage audio/visual data services, while also managing surgical support equipment. Service quantity, type and location on the unit are designated during the custom configuration process.
