1400 Series Angled AUDIOnAV Keypad - 1

1400 Series Angled AudioNav Keypad AudioNav is an assistive USB device enabling software navigation by means of audio direction. Users with impaired vision, reading difficulties or impaired fine motor skills can navigate through menus or directories that would typically be presented on a visual display or touch screen. Screen content is presented and summarised by recorded or synthesized language via a headset or handset. Menu pages and available options can be browsed and selected using this responsive and highly tactile keypad device. • Design of the Angled AudioNav minimizes protrusion from the front of the kiosk, reducing fall hazards. Rounded corners help to mitigate injury risks. Rated to IP65, the housing offers excellent protection against water ingress, ensuring the AudioNav remains functional in various environments. The pocket design of the housing may benefit users with motor control difficulties, by helping to retain the position of the hand and thereby improve interaction accuracy. The AudioNav is intended for use as the tactile/audio interface for any ADA or DDA compliant application such as kiosks, ticketing machines, vending machines, voting terminals etc. Storm Assistive Technology Products provide improved system accessibility for those with impaired vision, restricted mobility, limited dexterity or reading difficulties.
