Biomechanical Models and Analysis Overview
This document provides a comprehensive list of biomechanical models and analyses available in the EDDO model pack. The models are categorized based on the type of activity or body part they analyze.
1. Activity-Based Models
- Cycling: Model SW-EDDO-CY-02 is used for cycling analysis.
- Running and Gait: Model SW-EDDO-GR-02 is utilized for both running and gait analysis, including specific methodologies like the Helen Hayes protocol.
- Jumping: The same model, SW-EDDO-GR-02, is applied for jump analysis, including simple vertical jumps such as Squat Jump and Countermovement Jump (CMJ).
- Bike Fitting: Models are available for bike fitting on both the left and right sides, as well as for road bike measurements.
2. Joint and Body Part Analysis
- Joints: Model SW-EDDO-JT-02 covers joint analysis.
- Spine: Includes lumbar (2-point analysis) and dorsal spine assessments.
- Hips: Analysis includes flexion-extension, abduction, and rotation.
- Shoulders and Elbows: Right and left shoulder rotation analysis is available, while elbow analysis has been discontinued.
- Knees and Ankles: Separate models for left and right knees and ankles.
- Wrists: Models for both left and right wrists.
3. Discontinued Models
- Elbow analysis for both right and left elbows has been discontinued.
This structured list provides a clear overview of the available biomechanical models and their specific applications, aiding in the selection of appropriate models for various biomechanical analyses.
