Tailored to fit both pediatric and adult clients, this device is effective in combating head ptosis, improving speech patterns, swallowing, and visual degradation normally associated with head drop. Whether the condition is caused by weakness or a neuromuscular deficit, the DCO can be effective in facilitating an upright position. The DCO is a low profile system that encourages extension of the neck to promote a more upright, neutral position. Using small elastic tensioning bands, this revolutionary device separates itself from other cervical supports through its dynamic function.
