In view of this fact, SYNBONE has developed a range of knee models dedicated to arthroscopic surgery training. These models are designed for anchoring exercise, ligament repair/replacement exercise and arthroscopic examination. The features of SYNBONE arthroscopic knee models are as follows: - The model can come with either an intact meniscus or with a meniscal defect - The menisci can be sutured medially and laterally - Anchors can be placed for an all inside suture technique/ triangulation - Simulation of 3 types of meniscal defects namely: longitudinal, oblique, and radial tear - Features joint capsule for more realistic knee anatomy - The knee insert can be easily installed or removed from the re-usable foam coat with Velcro straps Each model has a different structural combination.
