Hematocrit (HCT) Information

2+2 Technology
The patented 2+2 technology by TaiDoc uses two enzymes and two signals (AC and DC) to accurately measure HCT and glucose levels. The AC signal calculates the hematocrit value, while the DC signal calculates the glucose value, ensuring accurate and fast testing.

Ketone Measurement
Ketones are acids produced when insulin is low, leading to fat breakdown for energy. High ketone levels can cause diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), a serious complication in diabetes. The system measures ketone levels to help prevent DKA, especially in type 1 diabetes patients.
