Case study No 4

Product catalog summary
Patient Information:
Mr. S P, 50 years old, presented with a fractured crown and was referred by a dentist with an acrylic temporary crown in place.
Initial Assessment:
Initial scans showed remaining bone suitable for implant length and drilling axis. The buccal side of the root and bone were broken.
Procedure:
The tooth was extracted, and a 16 mm implant was placed. The buccal bone crest was lost, but a zirconium abutment was used to promote gingival healing and adaptation. A TAV Dental straight abutment was screwed with a torque of 32 Ncm, indicating strong implant stability.
Post-Procedure Observations:
An occlusal view confirmed a good axis and central position of the implant. The abutment was reduced using a diamond bur with abundant irrigation to prevent irritation. No cement was used, and healing was observed at 8 days post-procedure with an acrylic relined temporary crown in place.
