LipiView II - 1

OCULAR SURFACE INTERFEROMETER Lipid Layer Thickness Measurement and Gland Imaging LIPID LAYER THICKNESS I GLAND STRUCTURE AND BLINK RATE I IMAGING SUB-MICRON MEASUREMENT REAL-TIME VISUALIZATION The LipiView II is an instrument that measures lipid layer thickness, captures blink rate and partial blinks, and images meibomian gland structure. LipiView II utilizes Dynamic Meibomian Imaging™ (DMI) to distinctively image meibomian gland structure. The interferometer features patented technology analyzing over one billion data points to isolate the lipid layer of the tear film, measuring thickness to sub-micron levels. Eye care professionals can evaluate the dynamic response of the lipids to blinking, while proprietary algorithms measure the extent of lid closure during each blink.
