Free T4 Microtiter

Product catalog summary
Intended Use: The document describes the quantitative determination of Free Thyroxine (fT4) concentration in human serum.
Principle: The fT4 test is a solid phase competitive enzyme immunoassay. It involves adding serum samples, standards, and T4-Enzyme Conjugate Working Reagent to wells coated with monoclonal T4 antibody. The fT4 in the specimen competes with the T4 conjugate for binding sites on the antibody. After incubation and washing, a color indicator is added, and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm. The color intensity is inversely related to the amount of unlabeled fT4 in the sample.
Contact Information: TECO DIAGNOSTICS, 1268 N. Lakeview Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92807. Tel: 714-463-1111, Fax: 714-463-1169.
Test Details: The test is named FREE THYROXINE MICROTITER (FT4W-96) and includes 96 tests in a liquid format. It uses a colorimetric method and is performed manually.
Storage and Measurement: The test should be stored at 2-8°C and measured at a wavelength of 450 nm. The linearity range is 0-2 ng/dL.
Expected Values: Laboratories are advised to establish their own range of expected values.
Expected Shelf Life: The minimum shelf life is 15 months.

Free T4 Microtiter-1

TEST: FREE THYROXINE MICROTITER (FT4W-96) NUMBER OF TESTS: 96 TESTS Intended Use Quantitative determination of Free Thyroxine (fT4) concentration in human serum. Principle The fT4 test is a solid phase competitive enzyme immunoassay. Serum samples, standards, and T4-Enzyme Conjugate Working Reagent are added to wells coated with monoclonal T4 antibody. fT4 in the specimen and the T4 conjugate compete for available binding sites on the antibody. After incubation and washing, a color indicator is added, followed by further incubation. After stopping color development, the absorbance is measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm. The intensity of the color formed is proportional to the amount of enzyme present and is inversely related to the amount of unlabeled fT4 in the sample. FORMAT: LIQUID METHOD: COLORIMETRIC TESTING PROCEDURE: MANUAL STORAGE TEMPERATURE: 2-8°C WAVELENGTH: 450 NM LINEARITY: 0-2 ng/dL EXPECTED VALUES: It is strongly suggested that each lab establish its own range of expected values. EXPECTED SHELF LIFE: MIN 15 MTH CONTACT US: TECO DIAGNOSTICS 1268 N. Lakeview Avenue Anaheim, CA 92807 Tel: 714-463-1111 Fax: 714-463-1169
