T4 Microtiter

T4 Microtiter

Product catalog summary
Intended Use: This document outlines the procedure for the quantitative determination of Total Thyroxine (T4) concentration in human serum.
Principle: The test involves microtiter wells coated with anti-T4 antibody. Patient serum and T4 conjugated with horseradish peroxidase are added to these wells. During incubation, T4 and conjugated T4 compete for binding sites on the antibody. After washing, a color indicator is added, and further incubation occurs. The color development is stopped, and absorbance is measured at 450 nm. The color intensity is proportional to the enzyme amount and inversely related to the unlabeled T4 in the sample.

T4 Microtiter-1

Intended Use For the quantitative determination of the Total Thyroxine (T4) concentration in human serum. Teco Diagnostics TEST: TOTAL THYROXINE MICROTITER (T4W-96) NUMBER OF TESTS: 96 TESTS FORMAT: LIQUID Principle Anti-T4 antibody is coated on microtiter wells. Patient serum and T4 conjugated with horseradish peroxidase are added to the microtiter wells. During incubation, T4 and conjugated T4 compete for the limited binding sites on the anti-T4 antibody. The wells are washed and a color indicator is added, followed by further incubation. The color development is stopped and the absorbance is measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm. The intensity of the color formed is proportional to the amount of enzyme present and is inversely related to the amount of unlabeled T4 in the sample. METHOD: COLORIMETRIC TESTING PROCEDURE: MANUAL STORAGE TEMPERATURE: 2-8°C WAVELENGTH: 450 NM SENSITIVITY: 0.4 jug/dl EXPECTED VALUES: 4.8-12.0 ug/dl EXPECTED SHELF LIFE: MIN 20 MTH CONTACT US: TECO DIAGNOSTICS 1268 N. Lakeview Avenue Anaheim, CA 92807 Tel: 714-463-1111 Fax: 714-463-1169
