Mechanical Principles: Tekceleo's motors use progressive wave actuator technology with integrated control sensors, offering high torque-to-weight ratios and precision. They operate without electromagnetic fields, using a piezoelectric ceramic, vibratory stator, and rotor.
Control Principles: The motors feature a closed-loop control system for position, velocity, and acceleration, with embedded encoder technology for precise control. Speed is managed by drive frequency, and position control is optimized through proportional control.
The WLG-R series includes piezoelectric motors ranging from 20mm to 75mm in diameter, suitable for non-magnetic environments like MRI. Key models include:
- WLG-75-R: 15W power, 1.5 N.m max torque, 250 RPM max speed, with a built-in optical encoder.
- WLG-30-R: 1.3W power, 100 mN.m max torque, 250 RPM max speed, with a built-in optical encoder.
- WLG-20-R: 0.55W power, 30 mN.m max torque, 380 RPM max speed, with a built-in optical encoder.
Controllers are available for each motor type, providing technical specifications for optimal performance and integration. They support continuous movement control and require a micro-controller for precise motion control.
The evaluation kit includes an STM32 microcontroller and WAVELLING® demo software for testing and development purposes. It also comes with a heat dissipation plate and technical support.
Accessories include cable matrices and electrical cable extensions to support various configurations and installations.
Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to 45°C. The connector used is JST - SHR-08V-S-B. Mechanical data includes a maximum radial load of 5 N, maximum axial load dynamics of 1 N, and a maximum force for press fits of 18 N. Shaft concentricity is ±0.2 mm.
The WLG-20-R series features an 8-pin connection for input/output specifications, including sin wave input, ground, cos wave input, 5 Vdc for encoder power supply, and incremental encoder signals.
Power source voltage is DC24V ±0.5V, with a pseudo sine wave oscillation waveform and frequency range of 35 KHz to 45 KHz. The motor drive voltage is 220 Vrms, and the consumption current is 3.0 A. The controller supports start-stop control with a TTL level signal and has a no-load adjustable speed range of 5 rpm to 175 rpm.
Power source voltage is DC9V ±0.5V, with a pseudo sine wave oscillation waveform and frequency range of 35 KHz to 50 KHz. The motor drive voltage is 180 Vrms, and the consumption current is 1.0 A. The controller supports start-stop control with a TTL level signal and has a no-load adjustable speed range of 30 rpm to 380 rpm.

Control principles In order to control the linear or angular position, velocity and acceleration, our piezo motor uses a closed loop control mechanism. The closed loop control system measures the position and then converts it into an electrical signal with our embedded encoder technology.
