TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR WHOLE BLOOD COLLECTIONS PROCESS T-RAC II (Terumo Recording & Automatic Blood Collector)* is a blood collection weighing and mixing device designed to standardize whole blood collections and improve the traceability of blood products. Innovative technology helps make the device highly flexible to better meet the specific needs of individual blood centers. Used in centers and on mobile drives, the device is easy to configure and offers thoughtful features that make it easy to operate. SAFETY AND CONTROL A large, full-color graphical user interface guides operators through each step of the collection process, displays key information and includes a touch-screen keypad for additional data input. The integrated, lightweight lithium-ion battery can provide power for up to 54 collections, recharging each time the device is plugged into an electrical outlet. The safety clamp enhances control of the collection and improves donor safety by locking the tubing in the correct position. FLEXIBILITY AND SIMPLICITY Define and enforce your collections process with the flexibility to make each step in the process a requirement or not. Store up to 10 collection programs, each with a custom name. Programs are used to define the range of acceptable collection values, including volume, flow rate and time elapsed, according to your blood center’s preferences. For added flexibility, the collection programs can be fixed with preset values or configured to allow operators to easily adjust the targeted volumes and other parameters within the defined ranges using the touch-screen keypad or barcode scanner.
