How can I mount my sitski on my skis when the binding is too wide-1

The boots fitting the skis are 325 mm in length. Mounting is usually the same as for a shoe of an identical length: the middle of the boot must be aligned with the marker of the ski. For safety reasons, we equip our boots of toe piece in order to avoid the toe booting out of your binding. - These pieces were for many years 67mm wide (2,64”). - We also propose as an option 77mm ones. (3,03”). If your binding is too wide, 4 solutions: - removing the toe piece, but it decreases the safety... that’s not our favorite solution. - using wider ones. Contact us to get an offer. - enlarging the toe piece. With pliers, slightly open each side of the piece. Few mm are usually enough. Don’t go to far in order to avoid to weaken the piece. - cutting the sides of your binding. That’s the solution we recommend when it’s possible. Cutting the side of your binding The easiest is to use a sander machine. It can also be done with a Stanley knife. Most of time you need to remove about 2mm on each side. Here are pictures with a Rossignol binding.
