To Measure Is to Know Since 1988, Transonic flow measurements have been used by Flow innovators such as Dr. Constantine Mavroudis at Children's Hospital in Chicago to develop such cutting edge procedures as the Fontan and the Fenestrated Fontan for pediatric heart repair. Today, Transonic's 4 & 6 mm Flowprobes are in use at top Children's Hospitals to help guide the next wave of CHD repair innovations. Blood Flow - The Heart of the Matter Whatever the nature of the defect, the primary goal is to create or restore blood flow to its normal route through the heart and lungs into the systemic circulation so that the child can grow and thrive.
