Improving Survivability AirwayPlus Lifecast - Intubation/ Amputation (APL-IA) The TraumaFX® AirwayPlus Lifecast - Intubation/Amputation medical simulator was created specifically to address the treatment of traumatic upper body injuries and incorporates an arm amputation with arterial bleeding and real-time feedback to create a uniquely realistic training experience. Constructed of a durable urethane core and specially formulated, life-like silicone skin, the APL-IA is designed to operate in inhospitable conditions and tough, outdoor scenarios.
