DISCO SUBTALAR IMPLANT SYSTEM SURGICAL TECHNIQUE STEP 1: Make a 2-3cm incision on the lateral aspect of the foot over the sinus tarsi along the relaxed skin tension lines. Avoid the intermediate dorsal cutaneous nerves that should course superior to the incision, and sural nerve that should course inferior to the incision.
