Product catalog summary
Description
The Standard Calvaria Phantom is designed based on an average human male skull using a patented ceramic-reinforced epoxy-based composite material. It is suitable for Ultrasound, MRI, and CT applications. The phantom is particularly effective for T2-weighted MRI imaging methods due to its realistic T2 relaxation time values. It is used primarily for medical imaging, diagnostic research, and treatment planning of non-invasive HIFU brain surgeries.

Anatomy
The phantom includes representations of cortical and trabecular bone structures.

Design
The manual provides various views of the phantom, including front, perspective, lateral, and top views.

Technical Properties
The phantom's technical properties include sound velocity, density, and attenuation measurements for cortical and trabecular bone. For example, cortical bone has a sound velocity of 3000 ± 30 m/s and an attenuation measured at 2.25 MHz of 6.4 ± 0.3 dB/cm.

Materials Used
The phantom is made from a urethane-based soft resin for soft tissues and a ceramic-reinforced epoxy-based composite for synthetic bones.

Size and Weight
The phantom measures 6.7 x 5.5 x 2.4 inches and weighs approximately 2 lbs. The shipment size is 12 x 10 x 10 inches, weighing approximately 6 lbs.

Included In Order
The package includes the Standard Calvaria Phantom, a user manual/assembly instructions, and a 2-year warranty with unlimited customer service.

Handling Instructions
The phantom can be scanned using standard protocols and positioned horizontally or vertically. It supports anterior, lateral, and posterior scanning techniques.

Storage and Handling
The phantom should be protected from intense UV light and stored in a dry, dark place when not in use.

Cleaning
The phantom is water-resistant and can be cleaned with water or soapy water. It is resistant to chemicals, but testing is recommended before using strong solvents.

TRUE PHANTOM SOLUTIONS INC. Description The design of this phantom is based on an average human male skull, and It is developed using our patented ceramic-reinforced epoxy-based composite material suitable for Ultrasound, MRI, and CT applications (any other part of the skull can be fabricated based on the customer order). In terms of MRI applications, the phantom tissues have realistic T2 relaxation time values, which makes this product the best fit for any T2-weighted MRI imaging methods. Very good results can also be achieved with proton-density imaging methods. The phantom can still be imaged...

TRUE PHANTOM SOLUTIONS INC. CA-C01 | User Manual The phantom is fabricated based on the anatomy of the real human body. It can be scanned per the standard protocols used while positioning a real person. The phantom can be put on horizontal and vertical positions for scanning purposes. Anterior, Lateral, and Posterior techniques can also be performed. • The phantom is made of urethane-based material and should be protected from direct exposure to any intense UV light. • The experiments conducted on the phantom can be performed in a sunny lab, but leaving the phantom under direct sunlight for weeks...

TRUE PHANTOM SOLUTIONS INC. CA-C01 | User Manual • The phantom is water-resistant and can be cleaned after use. It is ideal for cleaning it either with water or with soapy water. It is also quite resistant to chemicals, but if stronger solvents are meant to be used with the phantom, we recommend doing a small test on the bottom part of the neck or legs. The phantom should be placed on its belly, and the chosen solvent can be applied on a small, selected surface of the phantom for a few hours. If there is no visible effect on the phantom's surface, it is safe to assume that the phantom is resistant...
