Product catalog summary

Description: The Adult Spine Phantom is composed of 25 individual vertebrae encased in a semi-cylindrical body-mimicking tissue. It is designed for use in Ultrasound, MRI, and X-Ray/CT applications, suitable for medical imaging research and treatment planning. The phantom features realistic T2 relaxation time values for MRI, making it ideal for T2-weighted imaging methods.

Anatomy: The phantom includes Cervical Vertebrae (C1 – C7), Thoracic Vertebrae (T1 – T12), and Lumbar Vertebrae (L1 – L5).

Design: The manual provides various views of the phantom, including front, perspective, lateral, and top views.

Technical Properties: The phantom's tissues have specific sound velocity, density, hardness, T2 values, Hounsfield values, and attenuation measurements. Thermal properties include thermal conductivity, specific heat capacity, and speed of sound.

Materials Used: The phantom uses urethane-based soft resin for soft tissues and a patented ceramic-reinforced epoxy-based composite for synthetic bones.

Size and Weight: The phantom measures 22 x 7 x 7 inches and weighs approximately 30 lbs. The shipment size is 32 x 23 x 13 inches, weighing 55 lbs.

Included In Order: The package includes the Adult Spine Phantom, a user manual, a 2-year warranty, unlimited customer service, and an optional hard carry case.

Handling Instructions: The phantom can be scanned in horizontal and vertical positions using standard protocols. It supports anterior, lateral, and posterior techniques.

Storage and Handling: The phantom should be protected from intense UV light and stored in a dry, dark place when not in use.

Cleaning: The phantom is water-resistant and can be cleaned with water or soapy water. It is resistant to chemicals, but testing is recommended before using strong solvents.

TRUE PHANTOM SOLUTIONS INC. SE-A01 | User Manual • The phantom is water-resistant and can be cleaned after use. It is ideal for cleaning it either with water or with soapy water. It is also quite resistant to chemicals, but if stronger solvents are meant to be used with the phantom, we recommend doing a small test on the bottom part of the neck or legs. The phantom should be placed on its belly, and the chosen solvent can be applied on a small, selected surface of the phantom for a few hours. If there is no visible effect on the phantom's surface, it is safe to assume that the phantom is resistant...
