No less than 10 hours of continuous use. What is the life span of the LED? Under optimal conditions, an LED has over 50,000 hours of use. Truphatek guarantees the LED for 5 years from date of manufacture. What is the life span of the Lithium Ion Battery? Over 300 full cycles. One cycle is from a completely empty battery to a fully charged battery. In addition, the battery is guaranteed for 5 years (see Truphatek’s Warranty Statement at www.truphatek.com). By using LED as the light source instead of Xenon bulb, what has my hospital saved? The cost of dozens of expensive Xenon bulbs. And, in addition, you’ll be saving all the fuss and bother of replacing bulbs. By using rechargeable batteries instead of alkaline batteries, what has my hospital saved? An average hospital disposes of hundreds of batteries which you will now be saving. And besides, you’ll be protecting our environment by decreasing the number of batteries to be disposed. How can I clean the Tru-LED handle? The outer sleeve of the handle is made of silicon padding. When the outer sleeve is separated from the inner cartridge, it is completely autoclave-able. The inner cartridge containing the rechargeable battery should be wiped down gently with a dry cloth, taking care not to scratch the glass protecting the LED at the top of the cartridge Is the Tru-LED handle available in additional sizes?
